About GraftCost
GraftCost exists to answer one question honestly: what does a hair transplant actually cost? We are an independent project, not a clinic, and we sell no surgery, take no booking commissions, and accept no payment for placement.
Why we built it
Hair transplant pricing is deliberately confusing. Clinics advertise a low per-graft rate, then add grafts, add-ons and travel until the real total is unrecognizable. People researching the decision, often privately and anxiously, deserve a neutral reference that shows the all-in number and explains what moves it. That is what this site is.
How we work
- Independent. Independent · not affiliated with any clinic or medical-tourism agency. No clinic pays to appear here, and nothing on this site is an endorsement of any provider.
- Sourced. Our cost and clinical claims are drawn from named sources, the ISHRS, the American Hair Loss Association, consumer reporting and clinic-association data, listed on our sources page.
- Honest about uncertainty. Hair transplant prices genuinely vary, so we publish ranges with a confidence tier (high, medium, estimate) rather than pretending one exact number exists.
- Not medical advice. We provide information to help you ask better questions. The decision, and the diagnosis, belong with a qualified physician. See our disclaimer.
Our editorial standard
Content is researched and written by the The GraftCost Research Desk. Where a claim is clinical or financial, we attribute it. We are actively working to add a named hair-restoration physician as a medical reviewer; until then we are transparent that this is independent editorial research, not a clinical opinion.
